The First Unveil of Unprotected Plants After a Hard Winter


Finally, the snow is rapidly melting away and the unveiling of some of the plants is here.  We have been wondering how they would fair this year as some plants were winter protected and others were not.  Here are a few pictures of some of the Lavender plants that were not winter protected.  Interestingly, it appears certain varieties endured the winter without protection much better than some of the other varieties.

This one looks surprisingly really good with minimal damage and decay. Yippee:)

Sadly, this variety isn’t looking too good.  But there is still some green at the base of the plant so all might not be lost.  We will see!

Here is a beautiful plant that was protected.  What a difference…perfectly green.
